Do you only fly in Norway?

Although we are headquartered in Norway we can serve all of Europe with offshore transportation needs. In fact we have had operations from the UK over several years. Our partner HNZ Group is an international provider of helicopter transportation and related support services with operations in Southeast Asia, New Zealand, Canada and Antarctica. Under the HNZ Group banner, and in addition to our Norwegian operations, the organization operates over 125 helicopters in support of offshore and onshore oil & gas, search & rescue, and utility operations.

How much does it cost?

Our helicopters are quite large and costly and will in most cases not be suitable for private transportation. They are specifically fitted for offshore transportation to oil-rigs. If you feel that our services are in line with what you are looking for, price-quotes can be obtained by contacting us.

What is a SAR?

SAR is an abbreviation for Search and Rescue. This service include a specially fitted helicopter with hoists, search lights, medical equipment etc and in addition to 2 pilots we have a hoist operator, nurse and rescue swimmer onboard. This aircraft is on a 24/7 standby and can be airborne in a matter of minutes.

How fast does your aircraft fly?

We usually cruise at a speed of approximately 140 knot (approximately 260 km/hr).

How much money do pilots make?

This varies with experience and range from approximately NOK 500 to well over NOK 1 million per year.
